sold

I have for sale a factory Sage Xi2 6wt. This is the Xi2 690-4 model. It's a 9 foot 4 piece rod.

This rod is in excellent condition. I bought it and used it on a trip to Mexico earlier this year and that's it. It is THE perfect light saltwater rod........the only reason I'm selling it is because I just picked up a Z -Axis 6wt. I was just planning to get the regular Zaxis (freshwater version) but got a deal on a saltwater version that I couldn't pass up....I don't need two saltwater 6wt's. No warranty card for this.

The pictures were just taken by me. As you can see it's in excellent shape.

Price is $sold (paypaled, shipped). I will ship USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days anywhere in the country) upon receipt of payment. Sorry this is only for the continential US.
You can check my EBay references...I am Sillyjon on Ebay.
The first "I'll take it" WITH payment arrangements gets it. Please feel free to ask any questions about the rod.

thanks,
Jon

Yeah, I have a feeling I'm going to regret selling this one. I was really hoping to get a hold of a freshwater version 6wt Z Axis so I could "justify" having this rod as well....but the saltwater version came along for a great deal. I am hoping the Zaxis has enough power to be solid out on the flats for smaller bones. I think next to the Xi2 10wt, the 6wt Xi2 it is the gem of the Xi2 lineup. I've cast the 6, 8, 9,10, 11, and 12 and I think the 6 & 10 are the standouts.

I hope you take a second thought about selling that rod! I have tried both and I think the xi2 is the one to stick with.. Stronger and easier to shoot far in a big wind. But thats my opinion.. And a lot of power in the butt to turn them fast...
