don't want to be rude, pls excuse for asking,
but there's a lot of 9140-4s
Generation III? IIIA? IV? olive-brownie?
inquiring minds want to know...you have a truly classic (I think historic) rod to share but the guys need details--
is that the rod that appears in your gallery as you weapon of choice? SWEET :-)

Thanks and best regards, Bob

Hi Bob, Yes that could be the rod in the pick? I have two. They are the originals, I know what everyone is going to say, crappy reel seats! Yes they were, but I have landed hundreds of fish with these rods and never had a single problem. None of the new ones were the same action so I never upraded. Now with the T closed, and my career keeping me away from the Skeena I don't need two of them, and could use the money for new toys.
Great rod for someone starting out though?
Thanks,
Erik

that's pretty rod, and you've sure caught some pretty fish with it!
I already have one or I'd take you up on it.
so, a 9140-4 GIII Brownie for how much? you said you dropped price from 300

re-reel seat, I have same sort of issue with mine but there's ways around it.
good luck on your sale,Bob

One last bump, then I'll have to keep it and sell a different rod to thin out the herd a bit!

Bob, I dropped it to $300. And I'm throwing in a Windcutter for it as well.

Thanks,
Erik
