polarbear hair

hi

i have a large amount of polarbear hair.the colors i have are...

yellow (im out)
red (im out)
chartruse
purple light and dark
black
grey
blue (limited quantity)
pink light and dark
orange
white
olive

i will be getting some more colors in the new year, blues, greens and shrimpy colors.

most of this hair is very good quality as it comes from the paws , its very translusent so, it is a little on the shorter side, 3'' at most. the other hair i have is not good enuff for streamers but great for dubbing (intruders).

i m selling this hair by the bag ( zip lock 10 1/2" by 11 1/2")
i would rather sell bulk instead of one or two colors.

you can email me at [email protected] please put polarbear hair in subject title so you don't go out with the spam. i do get lot's of email's so understand if i don't get back to you right away.

please tell me how much you are looking for , if you want dubbing or streamer. and do leave your phone number so i can call you to organize time and place to meet.as far as price goes it depends on type of hair and how much you want.

i live close enuff to downtown vancouver and have a flexible schedule.

i can't upload any pics of this stuff but i can email some to you.

any questions at all please email me i will be happy to talk to you.

thanks

Who are you and where have you obtained all this polar bear fur???
Realize that first posts on the Classifieds page meet with scepticism,, especially when you are pawning a fur such as polar bear.
Shed some light dude,, who are you and whats the deal here?

I would echo above sentiments.

On a point of law....I think you may find that it may not be legal to send/export polar bear products INTO to the US of A, one of the few countries which have severe restrictions on such 'listed' species.

nice to see everyone is friendly around here?

i m new to this site.i have found that a lot of my questions have been answered by reading the threads, so i have not posted before.

the hair i have was obtained from a fella in BC who has been dying for a very very long time.
i have only sold the hair to people that i can meet face to face (Vancouver not USA or wherever) so you can skip the ethic lecture.

i have enjoyed reading many threads on this site and look forward to reading many more.

so sorry to be the bee in your bonnet salmon chaser but , you can get a lot further by asking nicely, instead of being all uptight about it.

Welcome

Broodude,

Welcome to Speypages. It's definitely a friendly site and regular posters like Salmon Chaser and Speyducer are just stating what everyone's thinking.

Please have a look at your own post. No introduction of yourself, where you got the fur, etc. There have been a few bad sellers, so the community is just trying to protect itself. I'm sure you understand that.

I live in Canada as well, so I'm aware of the legality.

My first impressions were that you're a merchant in disguise. Sorry that's just how I read and interpreted it. As such I wouldn't feel comfortable purchasing the products from you.

After reading your second post it's still a little unclear who you are and where you obtained the fur.

Regardless, welcome to the board. Good luck in your post. Perhaps try and post pictures, provide your real name, and give some more colour about who this 'fellow' is where the fur came from. The last thing tyers want to do here is support something that is questionable.

Cheers,
Preston

p.s. did anyone else watch the CBC special this past weekend on the Polar Bear?

Dude.
Your initial post reeked of many things,,, scammer came to mind as well as non-sponsor shop hawking his wares.. Like Preston says you still haven't eased any suspisions so fess up and provide a little background. First time posters who provide ZERO information about themselves and are looking to sell in bulk tend to sound the alarm bells,, not always,, but a lot of the time.
Especially when it is a material such as Polar Bear.
Also with that much looking around you likely saw the very two top "stickys" at the top of the for sale page and read both of them,,, then failed to meet even one of the "rules" of posting here.
No bee in the bonnet lad,, just pointing out the obvious.

Thanks guys for keeping a watch for us. You may have noticed that the thread disapeared for a bit and now is back. I pulled the delete on it as I have had a series of offline conversations with the poster. We will see how this works out and if it goes further towards a commercial bent, it will be gone.

Polarbear Hair

Aside from the obvious, I'm just trying to get visions and images of purple polar bears out of my head. Guess I've been enjoying the holidays a wee bit myself!

i live in vancouver, i am one guy who was able to buy a large amount of hair and therfore got the best price.

i m selling a portion of it to get some of my cash back.i m not asking for what the hair is worth.i didn't pay full retail for it and i don't mind passing that along to you.

all of his skins are obtained legaly otherwise he would not be in buissness for so long.

dana (along with a few other guys from here) have a sample of the hair so you can ask them about the quality.

i will not tell you who i get my hair from because i will maintain getting first crack at his supply (new colors), so don't ask.

i meet with guys face to face to decide on price becase every bag of hair is different.

it is my prefrance to sell a full bag at a time. for me to drive across town to meet you a give you 3 small chuncks for $10 ,is not really worth my time.

any other questions you can email or pm me with your phone number and i will call you.or give me your email and i can send you some pics , as i m not able to post pics on here (size restriction)

thanks

ps , sorry to all of you in the usa i can't sell you any , against the law.but thanks anyway all of you!

Steve,

I wish it was legal and you were right but alas not so. I actually don't know what I would use it for as I haven't tied a hair wing in years.

Now if it was Heron

Now 'Tip my friend, you know that no-no bird feathers are also illegal in the USA and I know you wouldn't want to send the younger fellows on the site down the road of federal crime by getting some of those swamp chicken feathers for yourself.
