Wanted 6'6"-7' light rod

Hi, I am looking for a 6'6" - 7' fly rod. Combo would also be considered.

Welcome to the board. Your post is a pretty subjective as to what you really want. So I will just offer this info.

If you click on my map/links page http://www.redshedflyshop.com/MAP.html
about half way down you will find a link for Mike Longuil. This man does excellent cane rod repair/restoration but he also has a glass/graphite for sale section that has some nice little sticks with a reasonable price point.

I have found Mr Longuil to be a fair honest person to deal with and he is close to your area as he is located in Pearl River, NY.

If you talk with him please tell him Mike from Peck, Idaho said hi.

How you get the line out and fishing is personal preference so as long as it works and is easy no one should care but the caster. MSB

Ed Shenk

There is a fly shop in Carlisle, PA that has or use to carry some of Ed Shenk's fly rods. These, I think, would meet your specs. I cast one maybe 12 years ago in some tight PA spring creeks. Sweet little sticks. I just looked at the website and it seems to store recently closed. I know Ed is from the Carlisle area mabe these folks can steer you in the right direction. www.yellowbreechesdotcom.
