WTB Bamboo

I know it is unlikely to find one, just checking to see if there is a used Bamboo Double Hander out there? The wait time for a new one is quite lengthy and I'm not that young.

Check with Jerry Drake. JDfishbum on here I believe. He may have a new one in stock. The 13ftr is quite nice.

PM sent re availability of a spliced Sharpes rod

Mike

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles (spey rods). Doug Larson

Mr. C. Check out Bob Selb's website Classic Fly Fisherman. There's a 14' Hardy on offer for decent money.

I posted this a short time ago

"I was fishing the Dee 2 weeks ago & in the window of Country Wear in Ballater they had 2 Sharpes 13 ft spiced ferrule rods for sale. The first was a very good condition, slightly faster taper [more modern?] with a single tip at £175.00 & the second was a traditional with 2 tips, again in pretty good condition, for £150.00

If I didn't already have a 12'6" Sharpes Ferruled model one of these would have come home with me.

Somone else may be interested though so I thought I would post it here."

Probably worth a call as these are good value & very capable classic cane rods.

Regards, Tyke.
