FS: Vintage Bruce & Walker Rods

For sale are a couple of Bruce & Walker rods that I have accumulated in my collection. Anyone in the know understands that these were one the rods that started the spey tradition decades ago in the UK.

Both are full flexing rods that have obviously been fished throughout their lives and bare the scars from their epic battles with fishes, bushes and the odd stray sheep . Good thing these rods are considered to be bullet proof (google will confirm this) due to good old British engineering. Both rods are 3 piece construction and will come with vintage OEM rod sock. Both will ship in custom (ie. handcrafted by yours truly) PVC rod tube. Prices includes paypal and shipping anywhere CONUS. Extra shipping to CAN may be applicable.

1) Bruce & Walker 15" Carbon Salmon Expert Series Rod. Burgundy whipped guides, cork handles with alloy rings For it's age and history, I would rate this rod to be in good condition (7.5/10). The odd surface scratch here and there, but nothing that would seriously affect the durability of this fine piece of British workmanship. Line rating of AFTM 9/10. Asking $275 firm.

2) Bruce and Walker 15". We think it is a graphite Cordon-Blue (or Bleu…. like in the chicken) as the model label has been mostly rubbed off. Spiral wound graphite blank, ruby whips, stainless steel guides. Line rating of AFTM 10/11. Condition of this rod is poor to fair (5/10). This rod looks like its been used to fend off viking invaders and hold off the persian hordes. Good thing is still casts like nothing else you will find in modern rods, since she flexing right now into the butt like a $1 stripper (don't ask me how I know). Asking $195.
