WTB: Spey rod for GL Steel

Hey all,
looking to find a deal on a Spey Rod for the upcoming season. rod will be used mostly on the Salmon River. I currently run a scandi setup on my #7 sage one switch and want something for throwing a heavy skagit and some heavier sink tips..

my ideal rod is a ONE 8136 so anything similar would be great.

thanks

I have a 13' bamboo that is comfortable casting a 650 grain or larger Skagit shooting head I might be willing to part with. That should toss as big a fly as one might need plus have the guts to handle some pretty big fish.

Send me a pm for details.

Jerry

Let me know

I think I fish, in part, because it’s an anti-social, bohemian business that, when gone about properly, puts you forever outside the mainstream culture without actually landing you in an institution. –John Gierach
