Salmon, People, and Places

I highly recommend this book by Jim Lichatowich. It's a superb follow up to "Salmon without Rivers", and if you have any interest at all in the management of anadromous fish in the PNW it's a must read. Worth reading just for the historical aspects of fish hatcheries and the associated mindset that has perpetuated a losing battle. The book offers some hope.
Not too pricey either. Worth the read.

Looking forward to reading this. Have you read Fishy business by Rik Scarce?

Sounds like good read.

Just ordered up; better yet there's a promo code going (bookdeal) that cuts the price to less than thirteen bucks.

switchswing,
Haven't read "Fishy Business", but looks pretty interesting. Also interesting that a sociologist wrote a book about fish.
It all gives me a bit of hope about the future.
