Atlantic Salmon Flies of Nova Scotia

Just had a look at the preview for this book by Damian Lee Welsh. Looks like one for the collection! Congrates McMutt on being one of the featured tiers.

You can preview it at blurb.com. Nice gallery of dressings and good batch of speypagers in it. Looks like a great book.

Hello Gentlemen,
I was checking out Internet chatter on my new book and came across this post.
Really glad you guys like the preview, if anyone is interested in checking it out or purchasing a copy, here is the direct link to the bookstore. Also, I'm selling a Limited Edition, signed number (125) with fly, details are on the bookstore page as well.
Again, thank you for the interest and kind words.
Cheers,
Damian

Thanks for the link, Damian, and even more thanks for the book.

Love the flies, and the superb layout - definitely one for the collection!

Sweet looking book, and very proud to be a part of it !!

With pliant line across the pebbled brook.

Hmmmmmm, pay the medical bills, buy the book. pay the medical bills, buy the book. buy the book. buy the book. Bills can wait!

P.S. Would be interesting, Damian, if you'd share some thoughts on what the whole self-publishing deal with the company you used was like!

Hey Gary, haha. Hard decisions.
In regards to the self publishing, it's my first time using such a service but I was familiar with the companies quality as I purchased a book by Jeff Kennedy Flies365 and it was incredibly well done. The software they offer to use is very user friendly and you can do a lot with it, the website is easy to use and statisics and promotional tools are great. I know there are others out there, but I'm happy thus far.
Cheers!

Thumbs up

I received my copy yesterday! The plunge I'm glad I took. At first glance it is much more than I could ever have expected. Incredible and personal. The patterns and plates are wonderful. The tiers make the book for me. Reminds me that tiers are people first and we all have a story. Thanks Damian and all those who contributed. Well Done!
