Shadows of the Western Angler

A great book writen by Van Gorman Egan, who was Roderick Haig-Brown's friend, neighbour, and fishing partner; remembering Haig-Brown on the 100th anniversary of his birth. Stories and pictures, as well as hand drawn maps Haig-Brown gave to Van for the Campbell and Nimpkish rivers. All signed and numbered. Will be a collecter item, as well as being an exceptional read. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!

Cheapest copy I could find was almost 400 bucks. I can't afford my own good taste and the recommendations of my peers!!

Copies available for $75.00

I checked with the publisher and there are still hard cover copies available for $75.00 + shipping and handling. These can also be signed by Van Egan before being shipped.

I just received a copy of this book and I must say that it is beautifully put together. This is a awesome book to recognize the birth of one of the greatest conservationist/fisherman of the 20th century. Mike thanks for starting this post, otherwise I would have missed out on this great piece of work. Scott
