Good Luck...

Good Luck!!!
I run a flyshop and try to carry this publication. I try to order it from multiple book sources but they can never get it either. All they have are old issues. The publisher-creator marches to his own drummer. If you get one... good, if you don't.. oh well.
I can't tell you the frustrations of wholesale book dealers and the raving that takes place when this publication is brought up.

Another dealer called me about 30 minutes ago to say that he got a note in the mail saying the magazine was finished. Supposedly two issues were going to be mailed only about a month apart this past fall, but it never happened. Attempts to reach Paul Schmookler by the person sending this note ( I forget what his affiliation with the magazine was) proved fruitless. I'm assuming all subscribers will eventually get this note, though I don't know that for a fact. Seeing this thread name such a short time after getting that phone call I assumed Erik would be giving out the same information. Such coincidences can be eerie sometimes.

9 volumes - any missing?

I haven't either.

I've got 9 consecutive issues - is that the lot?

I must say that the first 5 or so issues were a fantastic read. I used to really look forward to reading the next one.
Then some of the content fell off a bit (from my interest).
Still the best magazine out there though. Fantastic photography. I hope the publishers succeed.

Nine is what I have, too. I still haven't received that same note in the mail. That dealer who called me perhaps got it because he used to advertise in the magazine. Maybe other advertisers can chime in here if they also received the information that the magazine has folded.
