How to Dress Salmon Flies:T E Pryce Tannat
Well, this was the easiest reading book i have ever picked up. I started reading it on the flight to Maryland and was finished before we landed to get our connecting flight in Minneapolis.
I am quite anxious to get back home and tie some of the lesson flies in the book as done by Tannat, in hand without a vise. It seems to be a somewhat finger twisting ordeal, however; a more precise view of what one is doing.
The ease of the way he described techniques, finger movements and silk thread wrapping really helped to visualize what he was doing even without a vise or fly to try and mimic his actions.
I highly recommend this book even if just to add to a library and it is by far the best high priced investment in a book i have ever made.
