lefty kreh - presenting the fly

hi

i keep pondering over buying a copy of this book. Im hoping the book is very specific about casting ,mending, reading the water(water craft) retrieves lines, depth etc etc and not a ''how too tie a knot ,basics, etc etc.

can anyone advise as too the content and quality of the book.

cheers in advance

Thumbs up Lefty

One of the things that I will always remember Lefty saying in this book was that "prey does not move towards the predator" What Lefty was refering to when he said that was, if you cast beyond a fish (bone, permit, tarpon, even a carp) and then strip the fly back towards him, that fish is history, outa there, pronto!
Just one of the many nuggets you can expect from Lefty. I cannot say enough good things about this man. Buy the book. You will never regret it.

I fish because the voices inside my head tell me to.

Should meet your requirements

Barra, I think this book will have what you are looking for. Another good book specifically on casting is Jason Borgers book. It does no go into great detail about Spey Casting though.

If you are lookign for depth in Spey Casting, sign-up to and get the back copies of the Newsletter Dana writes and get Simon Gawesworths new book.

Hope this helps,

BTW, save a few bass for us south eastern guys!!
