Hairwing & Tube Flies for Salmon & Steelhead

Hairwing & Tube Flies for Salmon & Steelhead
Chris Mann

Wonderful book. Packed with interesting information and history. Great info on the "templedog" style flies including THE critical "fatback" winging technique which makes all the difference in the world in tying these. My swedish long wing style flies, which are my favorite style, finally look like the pictures I see in books. Much like the shrimp and spey book from the same author there are no photographs. the plates are drawings, and they do a fantastic job of showing off the patterns. Highly recommended.

It's Chris Mann

It's 30 some-odd percent off at Amazon. I bought mine locally, but just bought one as a gift for someone off amazon. Better they ship than me
