Running line question

I would like to use the one reel I have between two rods that require different grain weights. In doing this I want to use Rio 30 lb. floating running line on the reel.

Rio recommends using 20 lb. running line on the 360 grain I will be using and 30 lb. on the 450 grain for rod number two. Both heads will be Rio Flight Skagit and connect to sinking tips

Should I expect performance issues when using the lighter 360 grain or as a novice not be able to tell the difference?

Thanks in advance for any help.

My opinion - you would only tell the difference in a strong cross wind as the heavier line blows into a belly down wind. Otherwise not a problem.
