line recommendations for loop opti 9/10

I have the 9/10 opti line for the rod and find it doesn't load it very well. Any advice?

I have the 14' #9/10 Loop Opti and use both the 8/9 and 9/10 Rio AFS shooting head................................both work well for me, but you'll feel the rod load better with the 9/10 line.

I also use 9/10 & 10/11 Loop Opti Adapted shooting heads..................these heads tend to be light for their specified sizes.

If you don't feel you're getting enough load then move to the next heavier line.

As JohnG. says the Loop heads run light. The specs for the Optis and the AFS heads are as follows:

Loop Opti
8/9=432grns
9/10=509grns
10/11=602grns

RIO AFS
8/9=520grns
9/10=580grns
10/11=640grns

There are two choices go heavier (within reason) or get better.

If you can't find any test drive lines locally I can come up with a couple heads for a weeks test drive with no obligation but the return postage.

How you get the line out and fishing is personal preference so as long as it works and is easy no one should care but the caster. MSB
