Problem with Lower Arm position

I was doing some practice casting this afternoon and noticed something. When I keep my lower hand down my casting is good. It seems that my lower hand suffers from creep. After a couple of casts my lower hand seems to creep up. Has anyone else had this problem??? I am ready to take a belt and tie my arm down. Any other suggestions on how to help with this problem???

On another note I would like to thank Woodlander again for his help a couple of weeks ago at the Speyfest on the Muskegon. I now consistantly feel the load of the rod.

Forget the belt.

Use a 3 or 4 foot bungee cord with hooks on each end. Another suggestion. Clip a "bear bell" to your wader suspenders. And then learn to cast without making the bell ring too much. Get the Skagit Master DVD. And some shorter bungee's.

I fish because the voices inside my head tell me to.

Lift your upper hand. Seriously, keeping your hands up (within reason) is not a bad habit to get into.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will give them a whirl.
