need backing info

I have a 6/7 wt windcutter on a 12' 6" rod. need a recommendation on backing. What type and how much? steve

I sometimes put 30# braided Dacron on, even for the smaller rods but I see no reason 20# braided Dacron wouldn't work well on a smaller rod. A lot depends on the size of the reel. I think if you get 100yds on that is enough.
