"Speyline for Alltmor speyrod # 6/7/8"

Spey gurus,

I have an Alltmor speyrod # 6/7/8 and need some line recommendations. I think I would prefer a multi-tip line. I have only limited experience with double-handed rods bad have quite some experience with single-handed rods. So, of

Airflo Tactical two-hand Multi-tip 6/7

Orvis Multi-tip Spey line 6/7

what should i choose? Something else? I admit that I'm a little bewildered by line weights given with more than one figure (which I think pertains to a WF line).

if i'm correct

witch is rarely ,i believe the multiple ratings `in the field' are utilised as such;some rods can utilise more(or less) grains/grams therefore keeping the rear taper of the wt forward portion of the belly either in the guides when casting or out of the guides `should' allow you to find a `sweet spot' the rod `likes',,i believe that's what the older Rio pamphlet that came with their lines stated ,but you will find limitations with many combinations, the `Wullf trangle' lines for instance, the tapers are close on the belly's of them the headlength is the greatest dif. not every rod can handle the `80' ft. belly length ,but a `70' works fine,so fishing with 70 ft. of line out it still casts and fishes great,it's the extra grains from the `extra' ten ft, head or belly length that overloads the rod, hope i helped out with an explanation on multiple ratings,,there certainly are others on the board here with much more experience with the lines you've mentioned as i've used none of them, just answering your plea for assistance!

just fishin'
