Understanding the basics of Spey lines and Spey casts

Here's the latest video that relates Spey lines to the mechanics of Spey casting at a basic level. It's a generalization for newcomers so obviously it does not set out to cover everything.

This video is intended to work with my other basics videos to help the newcomer form a fairly complete of the Spey casting world.

As the snow melts and the rivers subside, I hope to produce more videos in the series that will cover each casting style in turn.

This may sound odd but with my old XP 'audio volume' is often a real issue; you can hardly hear the thing regardless of what buttons you push. Your's comes through LOUD AND CLEAR!

From someone with a hearing problem this was a blessing!

Excellent, Peter! Your explanations and visuals are crystal clear. I just learned at least one new thing; stopping the Skagit cast lower than the Single Spey cast.
As I learn to cast with the double hander, I had been stopping lower and lower with my Skagits, getting better results, but at the same time, thinking I was doing it "wrong". Thanks to you, now I know why it works better.

I'm looking forward to more of your fine videos.
