From a boat or bank

Hi Andy

Yes I do use trout fishing as an opportunity to practice but it is still not the same as you will understand. Salmon fishing these days I find tedious and prefer it in short sharp bursts just the odd day. I am trying to keep in touch by practicing with the DH whenever possible, 6 hours per week I just do not have and find that an hour at a time is just about enough before the boredom factor and physical strain sets in unless I can maintain some variety. Dana's suggestion seems sensible to generate the variety now all I need do is set aside the time. How was Grafham? it is a place that I really enjoy and get there late august every year for a few days. Tomorrow is my first trip to Menteith which I am looking forward to .
