Certified in Canada? East Coast

Lads.
How does a lad go about getting certified in single and double handed casting in and around the Maritime provinces of Canada? Who would i contact and where would i have to travel to in order to take the course? Any advice or contact info would be appreciated.

Send me a hundred dollars and I'll certify ya. It won't mean anything exceptin I'm richer and you're poorer but you'd be certified

On a more serious note this might help:http://www.fedflyfishers.org/Default.aspx?tabid=4455

How you get the line out and fishing is personal preference so as long as it works and is easy no one should care but the caster. MSB

Atlantic Fly Fishing School

Hey Dwayne,

Contact Dennis and Verlie Grant at the Atlantic Fly fishing school.

www.flyschool.net

They will be at the Fly show in Dieppe at the end of the month as well. Dennis is MCI, THCCI, and a Member of the board of governors for the FFF.

Google Rick Whorwood. He lives in Ca, is Loomis pro staff, and is THCI certified. He was actuallt part of the R+D team on the current line of Loomis speys. There isn't a better option out there for casting instruction in Eastern Canada and NE USA.

Good luck

Thanks Gillie.
I have been in contact with Rick as he was one of the first to drop me a line through a pm. I am meeting with Dennis Grant in three weks and will hopefully take the course this July.
