Spey Casting North East

Just wanted to give a bump for Jerry and Lisa at Spey Casting North East. I was able to get up to meet them on the Farmington river in Ct this past sunday for some casting instruction. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy going. One initial charge of $50, and then not only welcome back but encouraged, even if just to bring a new rod to try some of the lines they have to match it up right. I will definitely be back up when I can. Highly recommended. Website is outdated, but you can email Lisa to set up a day.

I agree. Jerry and Lisa are terrific instructors and about the kindest people you could ever meet. It is well worth it to take a lesson and spend some time with them. As Frobombs said, one initial fee of $50.00. After that, they are willing to work on any and all aspects of casting. They are also eager and equipped to help with matching lines to rods. Definitely look them up if seeking instruction. People like this are hard to find.

I just had a great day casting with Lisa and Jerry. Very knowledgable and passionate about the 2-handed game, but most importantly just great people. They are wonderful company: patient, effective instructors to casters of all levels and kindred spirits to those of us who are hopelessly spey-obsessed. You are right about them, Todd.
