This site has helped!

The Speypages has been a great source of information to me. This pass year has been dedicated to daily practice, hours of research, compiling lesson plans, teaching everyone that would listen and last minute cramming. Now I face the eve of my THCI test. Ready, confident but nervous as a rookie pitcher faceing Barry Bonds. I thank everyone on this site for the information, advice and encouragment. Pass or not pass, I'm a better caster and more knowledgable than I thought possible. This Spey Trek is like a hallway with a door at the end: You get to the door and open it only to find another hallway and door. I love it. Klem

It was an honor to be second seat during Klem's certification. His knowledge, skill, patience and enthusiasm make him a natural teacher and an asset to the THCI program.

Conversion

Going from Spey rod to Spinning rod:

Rememberrr that under pressure the mind can play tricks on you. Sometimes a quick flash of a WiseAss remarks just blurts out. I thinks I could give a good seminar on now to convert to a spinnnning rod with float and fly from spey rodding if you have enough pressure on the old guy .
