Irish Anglers Digest Article

Good Article about John Enright and the festival.

The difference between this competition and others is the fact we are celebrating the life of an exceptionally talented man for a small village in Ireland who took the fly casting competition world by storm.
Anyone interested in this man should read up about him on the website an exceptional man who travelled as far a Central Park NY to compete.

The History of this Man and the Village makes this gathering something special!

Anglers Club of New York Cup

A real treat the 107 year old Anglers Club of New York Cup won by John Enright in Central Park New York .He broke the world record at this competition with a cast 152ft with a Castleconnell 20ft Enright Rod. Some feat to travel that distance by boat from Ireland across the Atlantic ocean to the USA and not only win the competition but set a new world record!
