Aah, dump that old guy Simon as the headliner, and give it to Hannah.

For me, the glass is neither half-empty nor half-full, but rather twice as big as it needs to be.

Mark, Patty, & the Fly Fishing Shop always put on an outstanding event and this year it looks to be awesome. I highly recommend it.

How you get the line out and fishing is personal preference so as long as it works and is easy no one should care but the caster. MSB

Unhappy

Would love to attend Sandy Clave this year as the program looks to be top notch. Problem is, I have to board the big bird out of Medford at O-dark thirty Monday morning.

I fish because the voices inside my head tell me to.

Can't wait!

I've been getting more and more excited by the day, and I'm tying up a ton of flies too I've got a few days on each end of the weekend that I've set aside for vacation so I'll be getting plenty of opportunity to practice some of what I am able to glean from the weekend. I have no doubt that my brain will be overflowing with fresh ideas. About the only things I can't quite decide on will be which rivers to fish between the Sandy and northern California, and whether or not to bring my tying kit. I have a feeling that there might be just too much swilling (non-alcoholic of course) around the campfire to bother breaking out the vise.
Cheers, and thanks to all the organizers and volunteers for putting this on.

Jason - there have been tyers in the past set up during the day within the main area. But if you get distracted all of a sudden, and a few of your flies go missing, it ain't me. Honest.

For me, the glass is neither half-empty nor half-full, but rather twice as big as it needs to be.

With the deep, throaty voice of course

Well I may well bring along a tying kit anyway, just not sure if I'll break it out or not. If there is much of a social tying scene I'd love to jump in, though I'd probably be doing more watching than tying. Looking forward to meeting at least a few of the folks from the board here too.
