Great time

That was one of the very best clave weekends. Really nice atmosphere in every way. Great food as ever. So much work behind the scenes. Randy and all the team did a great job. Many thanks to Friends of the Grand River.

Peter, excellent video.

Great clip Peter as usual.Looks like a great time.

With the hollow cries of a loon echoing off the mountains, the mist rises from the water like a thousand ghostly spirits freed at last of their earthly torments. It is here that my life falls into focus.

Didn't realize until I was editing it that I had a short clip of Jin tying in the hand. That fly was done in the hand. At the time, I was too mesmerized by his scotch flask to notice ...

I was thinking afterward that it would be cool to make a video of you tying an entire fly in the hand and posting it here. Let me know if you're interested.

That would be very cool to see. I hope you get it done.

I would be happy to watch the video Peter and Jin. Thanks for the help with the 8-9 line Peter and for taking the time the following day just to make sure it was right for my GL.

Nice tying your flies are amazing Jin, I know we only spoke for a few minutes as you were leaving I am Gary the one that was with M.B. as you were exiting the park. Enjoy London and if needed I can help with the scotch as well.

Greattttt weekend all around.

Don't be too hard on yourself, and remember, video editing can cover up an entire host of sins. However, the blooper footage would be saved for future scotch extortion.

If you reconsider, let me know as I think this would be a way cool video.

BTW, tied into my first Grand fish of the season, but lost it as I was backing up to land it (getting off to a late start after spending most of September in England). A powerful, fresh, double digit fish. I'm still twitching . . .

I didn't go to the clave I went fishing instead. The river I usually fish has very low water right now,so I came down your way to fish,I don't normally fish this river....but was pleasantly surprised to swing up seven steelies with the revamped Burkie 7141-4.....I was impressed to say the least, hard hitting and fighting line stripping big fish....here's a pic of one of them.
