Thanks for the kind words Frank, not Jin ties found it searching the net that fit in perfectly with the layout for the poster, maybe the next one can feature Jin's ties! As they are for sure beautiful enough to be on a poster!

See you in September!

Confirmed tyers for the clave so far are John Burkhardt,Steve Wolcott and also Jin(Whiskey Jin) Lee.Thanks for offering to tie for us again in 2012. These guys were tying in the tent together at this year's Clave and I don't know who was having more fun them or the people watching their tying demos. We'll have to arrange for a larger flask of the keep warm stuff next year.

Peter Charles will also be demonstrating how to make welded loops on your spey or fly line and I can vouch for the quality of his workman ship.

Thanks,Randy

Yupp it is, confirmed the use of the picture I thought it was just clip art that I found on google and come to show it is on his main page. He was more than happy for us to use the fly. I think he said he tied it 6-8yrs ago.

I received a pm from a member here that lead me to his direction. Thanks again for helping out with that.

It's only December and I already can't wait!! Just booked the week off after this event to make sure I don't have to work that weekend, and also get lots of time to fish with some good buddies!! Let's just hope that the weather co-operates a little more this year...:P

For next years Clave (2012) we will definitely be going with a nice fully enclosed event tent with window panels for the fly tying demos, raffle etc.

Cheers,Randy
