I had the privilege of watching Brian cast at SOR two weeks ago. Brian is at the pinnacle of the world's elite Spey casters. It is worth going to any show just to see him string his rod!

Nextcast

For those interested in trying them I will also have a few of the new 70' fall favorite lines. These match up beautiful with rods in the 14' to 15' range and I will say are some of the best long lines I have ever cast. Also spooled up is the Champ15 and champ18 these are competition heads. For the champ15 you will need atleast an 11/12 15' rod. I hope someone brings a 18ftr! The champ18 is 100' uncut and weighs in around 1250 gr.

Tried the 45 foot line-very nice
Also cast the 55 Winter authority-also very nice

And Danimal, also remember to mash those barbs as it makes releasing the one you want to "throw back" so much easier and less painful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How you get the line out and fishing is personal preference so as long as it works and is easy no one should care but the caster. MSB
