Nice

Friday and Saturday the weather finally cooperated. Lots of people Saturday. This is a great event where the folks can actually get some one on one time with the presenters. I saw a couple of folks ask Simon a question and get a multi hour answer. Where else can you get private time with such great talent?

We were musing Saturday night over the malt at just how wide and deep the talent pool is.

We missed you Ed

Dec boiled a nice fish and had a nice grab on the Sauk on a piece of yarn and floating line during a class on Friday.

IMHO some of the 'up and coming generation' need to work a bit on their manners and language. These are not gang banger events. I guess I must be getting old.

Thanks to the K crew for another super event

You always learn something at these events. This one was no exception.First of all ,for me, it is just a pleasure to see friends and get to know others. At this event I got to know Al Lind much better and now have an inventory of hilarious stories that implicate lots of other fishermen and guides in various ridiculous situations. It was a real pleasure to spend so much time with Dec.It has been a long while since we have had that much time...very nice!! I enjoyed helping with his Friday class and we topped of the day with a nice party at our campsite.I overserved myself...hope I am not one that Jack Cook was talking about.BTW,I am not getting old..I am old! Ryan Petzold's single hand spey casting was highlighted by him pointing out that he does a haul on each move in a cast like the snap-t. I have seen single hand demos before but that technique was either not done or was not explained...or for all I know, I do it, but was unaware. Some of the hauls are small and can go unnoticed...great job Ryan! Also a great job on your presentation about fishing the Oly P! This industry is full of great people and I thank Jerry for putting this together so that I could hang out with them for a few days!
