Clearwater Spey Clave Charity Casting Class

Immediately following the Red Shed Spey Clave, from 3-5 pm on Sept. 28th,
there will be casting instruction offered.

The cost for the class is a $20 (or more) donation to rettsyndrome.org, we will set an envelope out for cash/checks.

No advance signup necessary.

Current instructors are:

Whitney Gould (7-time woman's world champ)
Bruce Kruk -Mr Gaelforce Guru also know as "the whopper"
Tim Rawlins - the one and only Linespeed Jedi
Zack Williams -Swing the Fly

and more likely to be added.

The focus on this class will be improving your existing skills -- there will not be a full-on demonstration, it is a chance to get hands on tips and tricks to help improve.

Additionally, Swing the Fly magazine will be providing some "adult beverages" for those in attendance.

And this will help support a really great cause that is near and dear to many of us at the clave.

Thank you,

Zack

This opportunity alone just led to a “honey I’m gonna head over to Poppy’s clave” conversation. I just got the hall pass, so will be westbound with a few two handers, a bit o whiskey and a half dozen stogies.

Can you provide a link to a donation page? Id like to kick some money into the pot but I can't be there to write a check or give cash.

That is very generous of you. The charity is rettsyndrome.org, so you could just donate directly, or you could make a check out to Rettsyndrome.org and include a note of what it is for -- then mail to the Red Shed, we will make sure it gets added with the others from the class and sent to the charity:

Thanks!
