Red Shed Spey Clave

Just might make it over there this year. If not, will be there a week before or after it I suspect. Great event and as usual has a super line up of presenters and manufacturers. The presenter's page shows 2017, but it’s what I found attached to the announcement for the Clave, so I expect it's the agenda for 2018. This is always a non selling event and Poppy and Mrs. Red Shed are super hosts...and the cookies are incredible! The Redneck-O-Rama is big fun for those who can stay to see it Sunday. Who will win the cookie this year???

Hoping to finally be there this year. Also really hoping we see a late push of fish soon.

Yeah, can't wait. I would strongly encourage all who can possibly attend to do so. As a community we need to support these events to the fullest. Lot's of time and effort on the part of the Red Shed team, vendors and presenters to make these go, and it's all for your cost-free benefit! Would also encourage all you Speypager's to stop by the Bruce & Walker booth and say hi. Always fun to put faces to the Speypages handles!!!

I see you're a shvingger too!

I'd say that 1pm discussion is more important than ever after the last 2 years. Excited to meet some new folks, too.

Where's a good RV place? I have a 29' Nash TT I would be bringing. I see Willola RV park, but doesn't seem I could make a reservation. Any help appreciated. Look forward to coming down, its been a few years.

There's one in Clarkston called Hells Canyon, and I believe the Indian Casino upriver from Lewiston has an RV Park.

Clearwater Crossing RV Park, Orofino.
Pink House Recreation Site, near Orofino.
McKays Bend Recreation Site.

All are pretty close to the spey clave location.

Hey Bob,

Please stop by the B&W booth this year, I need to hear more stories about rope'n buffalo. Still gives me a chuckle every time I think about it! I mean really, what could go wrong?

Looking forward to seeing you, Tom.
Please remove all the buzz worms in the area before we get there.
Wish I had more buffalo roping stories to share, but that one little rodeo was enough.

It's interesting to compare the run numbers over Bonneville and Lower Granite. As of September 12th, there are roughly 13,000 fewer fish this year than last year to date over Bonneville. However, as of September 12th, 4,048 fish have passed over Lower Granite, compared to only 1,624 last year. Might this be a sliver of hope? What might this mean for rivers like the Clearwater and Grande Ronde?
