CF Burkheimer Casting Schools will be hosting two Winter Steelhead Clinics
this season on the Clackamas River. We'll be floating the river from McIver to Barton Park, immersing students in actual fishing situations, and discussing the approach, technique, and equipment that winter steelhead fishing demands.
This is a fishing and casting class aimed at making you a more effective winter steelhead angler. You will leave this class confident with presentation in a a variety of water types and conditions, from either side of the river.
Brian Styskal (highlander2) and Nate Koenigsknecht (NRK) of CF Burkheimer Fly Rods will be hosting the class. We have two dates available and we're limiting each class to three students per one instructor, allowing for plenty of individual attention.
Rod, reels and lines will be available upon request. Lunch will be provided.
Dates: Saturday Dec. 12, 2009; or Saturday Jan. 9th 2010
Time: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Contact Kerry Burkheimer ([email protected]
) or Nate Koenigsknecht ([email protected]
