Let's tie

I tried once before and the response was less than stellar but I'll try again.

Would like to start a tying gathering maybe once every other week or once a month, swap stories, recipes and a few drinks with good friends.

I know of a couple of you out there that better answer or there will be hell to pay but let's see if we can get a good group together and have some fun!

Thanks Borderfly

Would love to come see you, but not sure if I have enough gas in the tank.

I'll be there sometime in the middle of Jan. and right through until the end of Feb. It will be an all expense paid trip by my employer .... since I will be commissioning a robotic weld line for a customer Thank-you for the offer though .

Since my tying kit always comes with me on "tours of duty" , I take it that I should bring down some Spey gear as well ??

Absolutley! Plenty of fishing to be done at that time. It will a tad bit chilly but the fish don't seem to mind. So bring it down with ya.

Give me a holler when you are coming to Boise. We have a group of delinquents here who get together regularly. On top of that, we also do tournament style texas holdem games. Buy in is a dozen flies and the winner can end up walking with about 100 flies (and 50 for second, and so on).

I'm not sure how regularly I could attend but would certainly make it when able. It would be great to meet some other Grand Rapidians on here.

I live a five minute bike ride from Founder's and word on the street is that Backwoods Bastard is making a comeback this fall. So... yeah I could meet there.
