Sounds like Great Lakes Fly Fishing Company has picked the dates for 2009! I'm sure that Bob will get the dates posted once he's ready, so keep your eyes peeled!

I know its still a few months off, but it will be here before we know it. This is the BIG ONE in the western GL's. Miss this one and you'll be sorry.

I'll be there for sure!

Awesome!!!!!!!

I'll definately be attending....... Too good to miss.

I'll be opening the doors here for any and all that need a place to stay, and/or gather after the fun at Speyfest.

I'm wondering if I can once again bother Jamey to be "The Set Up- Contact Person"?????????
Let me know.......... Your skills and presense were missed at the June gathering.

Yeah bro,

And as always I highly recommend anybody think of taking Joe up on his offer of lodging to do it.

Always a good time.

I have a freezer full of MahiMahi, whatever is left, by then, I'll bring for the grill (I know theres still a few people I promised some to).

Woo HOOO!! Can't wait for this one.

Seriously, if you've been to any of the various claves and other gatherings but have never stopped by Joe's "little" house on the river, you're missing out. I would very much encourage any and everybody that's never done it to drop in this year. It's kinda like deer camp only there's spey rods stacked outside the house instead of rifles. Thanks again Joe for opeing your door to all of us!

See ya'll there!

Spey Fest Headliner

As a matter of fact Doug, I can. This years' Spey Fest Headliner will be Dec Hogan. I am finishing up the roster as we speak, (it may take a week or so), but look for the complete list soon, both here and at www.greatlakesspeyshop.com

The cheeseheads will be attending

Heron & I will definately be there. With Mcloud bringing MahiMahi for the grill I can bring two whole beef tenderloins for on the grill too. That way we can have surf & turf. Ill bring my tying stuff this time also Ill bring a bottle of Speyburn scotch. Unless someone wants me to bring the other turkey breast instead of the tenderloin let me know so I know what to bring. Cant wait to see everone again.

Hey...

Any thoughts of a fly swap again for this year's fest? I'd be willing to go some tubes into the pot.
