Swim a fly at the Clearwater Clave Sept 27th

As you already know the Clearwater Clave hosted by "Poppy ( Mike) and Linda Cummins is fast approaching.

I will be there tying tube flies using the Eumer Tube components. I will also have a very cool toy there with me, a Kalax Fly testing tank. You can swim your fly in the tank, which is basically a water tread mill to see how your fly swims in the current.

So bring your favorite fly and see what it really looks like in the current.

You can also see how some of my favorite tubes swim.

See you there

Paul

Very cool Paul.

I hope I can make it but most likely won't. What is the price of said cool tank? I would like to get one for fly design.

thanks.

Hi Greg

They were $175 when I first found them....I now understand that they have jumped up to $229....Jack Cook on this site has them. He is just a couple of posts above this one if you wanted to contact him. He used to have the Irish Angler...but I understand now that he is a distributor.

Your artwork by the way is wonderful...keep up the good work

Best regards
