Be there
Will be there. Was looking at fishing the Skagit for a couple of days ahead of the event, but maybe some other river if the Skagit closes. Staying again at the Dutchcup motel in Sultan which is a good place to stay and is right next to the Bakery Cafe which serves outrageous breakfast menu!

Thks Ryan and Jerry[Kaufmans],all the presenters, and all the reps for putting on the show this wkend! Everyone should go to these!Lots of very nice people involved in this sport!I feel that I am at a very high level[IMHO] but I still can get plenty out of watching these guys.Ed Ward turned on the light for me a number of years ago as I struggled with my right shoulder casts.Yet,I still loved his presentation this weekend. It was the perfect refresher course! And, if nothing else, you could turn off the sound, zoom in, and just watch the action of his two hands and learn a ton!!These claves are not just for beginners!Everyone can get something from them.Plus, anyone looking for a new rod or line should go and try them! And, don't just stand there and throw long back to back switch casts.Try them with 90 degree change of direction fishing casts!
I also learned that I don't need to practice my casts. What I really need to focus on is building a couple of boards with holes[need to call george for the official measurements] and practice for the washer contests.I plan on ending the Sage & Loomis team's domination of this game!

Sunday
Great time ...
Regrets are that I missed the start of Mike and Scotts talk as I was wadering up and distracted by co-eds waiting for their rafting party to take them up river. My partner filled me in on some of it.
Wish I could have gone saturday as well.
Always pick up a nugget or two of casting info.
Thanks to Simon, Mike, Scott, George, Tyler, and all the reps it was great being able to compare rods.

I made it for a while on Saturday.
Thanks for putting on the event. I wish I could have stuck around longer.
Beau's picture reminded me (that's not me in the picture):
Thank you Scott for helping me out with my casting. :-)

Unfortunately,it was raining too much to have my camera out much.Would have loved to have captured a bunch ,but it was either raining or I was casting a couple rods or it was washer time! Here is Scott O'Donnell giving some one on one instruction. Followed by George Cook doing his "swivel to key" demo on how to practice your moves on the couch with the remote for a rod!Folowed by George again, this time saying............wait a minute......no....if I repeat that......Kush will bleep it!!
