CND Rods at M&Y Spey Day

I will have all the CND GT rods at the Michael & Young Spey Day this Saturday April 9 at Cultus Lake. I will have the both the 11'6" Trout Spey and the 12'8" Switch along with everything up the the 16' Thompson. Come on out and give them a try.

This Clave as as good as they get! The M&Y folks do it right: excellent demos, great free lunch, a number of raffles with a huge pile of prizes and lots and lots of gear and vendors on hand. And of course the GT rods will be there ?.

Excellent!

Hoping to make it to Cultas Lake... The M&Y bunch are awesome!

I would like to have to have another go with the 12'8 Trout Spey. What is your current recommendation for grain weight and line for the 12'8"?

The 16' Thompson I'm keen to try as well.

Thanks Tyler!

I have a 330 gr Nextcast 35 on it right now, I think it would be fine with a 350 gr line on it. Iam interested in having a few lines cast on it as my personal stash of lines is kinda "light" in the light line area.

Tight lines - tyler.

Will there coma a time

when these rods may be available on the East coast for a wiggle? There are a few spey venues taking place here in various locations. See Sherbrooke Spey Forum, and Speynation on the Salmon River, NY.

You can catch a lot of fish, and you can keep a lot of fish. But you can't do both very long. Jim Timmins

Excellent day!

I really enjoyed the M&Y Cultas Lake Spey Day.

Many thanks for having the CND lineup available Tyler. These are all fine rods! The 12'8" 5/6/7 is at the top of my list.

All of the new CNDs were thoroughbreds, the class to beat. The 13' 7" 7/8/9 is my new ideal for THE all-around spey rod.

Perfect weather; an ideal parklike lake shore to accommodate several hundred attendees. Exhibitors for just about every brand. Talented presenters. Free lunch!

Thanks guys! It was a great day and the GTs got a real workout - at times I think I needed 2 full sets of demos to keep up with the demand. Many thanks to the M&Y guys as they once again did a bang-up job. Now its the final week and a half of prep for competing at Spey O Rama... Then the next demo for the GTs will be at the Sandy Clave in May.

Tight lines - tyler.
