CND Day March 12th

While I don't want to incite another monsoon event, it is about time for a CND Day on the River, especially since I now have the GT 11'6" Trout Spey 4/5/6 and the GT 12'8" Switch 5/6/7. I will have these little guys, along with the rest of the GTs on Saturday March 12th at the Ben Howard launch on the Skykomish between 10:00 and 2:00. See you there.

Just a reminder that I will be at the Ben Howard launch on the Skykomish this coming Saturday from 10:00 - 2:00 with the CND GT rods including the 11'6" Trout Spey GT and the 12'8" Switcg GT. If you have a favorite line in the 300-350 grain range that you'd like to try bring it along.

Well... I am absolutely POSITIVE that the Storm God has it in for me... The weather forecast for Monroe on Saturday is Thunderstorms and a 90% possibility of serous rain. The rain I can deal with but the Lightning is a no go.

I am going to cancel this day and wait fir better weather.

Thanks Tyler for the demo today. Great to cast all the new rods. They still have that CND feel but wow, what a lineup. Think I spent time with them all even though I had cast a number of them before. Walked away super impressed with the trout speys and the new Thompson. The little guys were a blast and would be great large trout or light steelhead rods. The Thompson was a cannon but incredibly light in the hand.

The next time I will for sure have the rods out for demo will be at the Michael & Young Spey Day at Cultus Lake in BC. The M&Y Spey Day will be Saturday April 9th. If you can possibly make it it is more than worth it. M&Y does a great job and this event truly rivals the Sandy Clave.

I may be able to do a demo day the last Saturday of March or first one of April. However, if that happens it will be north of the border on the Fraser or Vedder. I will announce here.
