Name tags used at Spey Claves?

Was wondering if there has been/is any interest in having nametags at the Spey Claves? We could choose to put our Spey Pages moniker on the tag.

I was thinking that it might promote/generate introductions and good ole spey-type bonding.

Any thoughts?

Name Tags

The North Santiam Spey Casters' welcome booth have nametags available at the Sandy Spey Clave. Not everyone wants to wear them tho. I started the idea three years ago and each year there are more people wearing them. Names with faces are nice.

We had name tags at our clave. I thought that it was good idea and only one person put his name tag inside his shirt pocket.

Great Idea

I just use my name for Spey Pages ... but others are more creative ... I didn't know I was talking to Forum friends at the calve until I got home ... I think having your real name and Spey Pages handle on a name tag is a great idea at a clave.

Thumbs up I've been suggesting this for years.

Many, many of us post to one/more boards, some use their 'reel' names, most don't ... (could never figure that one out). What does a box of 500 name tags cost? Six bucks???

like the idea

It generally takes me 3 times hearing a name before it sinks into my memory; I remember much better if I see it in writing, so I am all for name tags, with name and posting name. And I don't use my real name as a posting name because there are always multiple "Joe"s in every site. "Gunner" refers to my Marine Corps rank.
