Thumbs up River of No Rturn Spey Clave

What a great turn out. I had a good time and meet lots of great people. I enjoyed tying at the clave as well. The casting seminars were very informative. The reps came through with lots of rods and lines for your casting enjoyment. Thanks for coming Dan Hurzeler.

Question River of No return fishing...

How was the fishing this weekend? I will be fishing there next week. Has there been a color preference this fall? Thanks in advance.

Jon

Two handed rods, swung flies, bird dogs and the 45th parallel. That's my happy place.

Fish are here

Hey speybstrd, yes they are here we seem to be doing best on darker colors blacks and purples. I like signal lights and a pattern of my own i call slik toxik. The river seems to have fish every where. Dan Hurzeler.

river of no return

The fish seem to be settling down after their long swim and are on the bite. Anglers are having success from the town of Salmon down to the Middle Fork. Idaho F&G check station reports show good catch rates on the Salmon, Snake and Clearwater. Long leader and damp fly are still working in shallower water, tips in the deeper runs. Weather report shows overcast conditions for the weekend into next week.
