Mike,

I certainly remember meeting you last fall at Poppy's clave. You can likely find me down at the river with a stack of 14'ers. If not I'll see you on the Clearwater next fall. Have my 15' MKS 8/9 up and running and it looks like it will be a super hammer for those B's. Going stupid right now for mie-long bellies and SPG is not helping my affliction. Every time I talk to the guy he ends up digging into my wallet. I have sneaking suspicion that some of the vendors at Sandy will be doing the same next weekend.

Hope to see you there.

Tom

These guys will be there. What to finish dressing for the one in the vice, hmmm, I hear the water is running low, so some low-ish water stuff to take maybe. Hopefully going to make it 5-for-5. Oh yeah, that thing at the park with all the rods and people... Still waiting for the Klausinator...

For me, the glass is neither half-empty nor half-full, but rather twice as big as it needs to be.

I'll be there Friday and Sunday, not sure on Saturday. This will be my 4th year.
Have a great time every year. Wish I could camp over but that's not the case.
Hope to see you all there.

It would be great if you would come Fred... I am heading over to this again it will be a great time , BUT this time I am thinking ahead and camping so no more green suited fog horn leg horn people blasting " THE PARK IS NOW CLOSED" My first thought was ,,,what the heck was that?.. I have no idea I must have been hearing things again,,, just keep swinging... A few minutes later and just as the shade started setting on the river and the fish starting to move and roll around all happy..... and BOOOM "THE PARK IS NOW CLOSED"" " Closed!? I considered just letting the tow the P.O.J. Ford fiesta away, but it was long walk back to town.

I can not wait to get out of the old dust factory . It is a beautiful park containing a nice little river , some great people all into spey fishing, and free food. Really what more could a man ask for?
Please stop by the booth and say hello. I will be sporting my pages handle so you know who I am.

O Ya one thing is for sure as I am camping next to the Meiser boy's this year. I will 100% for sure... NOT leave Mrs. SpeyCo's Tablet in his camp and unlocked..

...Morning sunshine.... or should I say a Full moon?

http://waterdata.usgs.gov/usa/nwis/uv?site_no=14137000 Same for almost all rivers in Oregon. Here in Southern Oregon almost not a drop of precipitation in weeks. This summer is going to get danged interesting.

Wow Fred, looks like it's at a 100-yr low. Will the summers come in with it so low, or maybe they'll swim in early because they think it's mid-summer already?

Excellent Tim you're returning, class-act last year. Does this mean there might be a Speyco in the raffle again?

I hope there isn't a full moon, or moons...

Not kidding!

I think I fish, in part, because itís an anti-social, bohemian business that, when gone about properly, puts you forever outside the mainstream culture without actually landing you in an institution. ĖJohn Gierach

I keep looking at the streamflow data, wondering if they're going to have to have the "on water" demonstrations on the grass this year! For some (most) of us, we won't ever have seen the water this low before.

For me, the glass is neither half-empty nor half-full, but rather twice as big as it needs to be.
