Marlow Clave

Thanks Marlow I had a great time. The weather was perfect. My casting wasn't but it was fun anyway. Thanks Aaron for bringing up some try rods. Thanks Homer for letting me try your line and for the sinktip.

Congratulations Bob Triggs for being absolutely
average and winning the Skagit Specialist.
I bet you are glad you entered now.:hehe:

Need to ask a question on this clave. I was at the Howard Miller Steelhead park until about 1015. And I didn't see anything that resembled any clave. So I left. In fact I even drove thru the PArk twice and couldn't find anything that was set up. Was I at the wrong one or it there two parks in Rockport with that name?Totally confused.

And yes I know that area so there.

Well I'm sorry that I missed another one. I must be getting too old for everything. Once and old man always an old man just getting older.

Thanks marlow and arron for a great show. It was nice being in the company of so many great casters who just happen to be great fishermen and just really good people. Bob Triggs it was nice to finally meet you and a big congrats on the win. Highlights for me were of course watching Ed Wards and Mike Kinneys Flawless casting strokes, just reminds me that I'll have to polish up my own casting a bit before next year. Would have been nice to stay for the after hours but the girls were getting restless, looks like thier were some serious good eats to be had at the cabanna and I would hope in the later hours the passing of the bottle at the camp fire. Ol rich it was nice to see you and thanks for letting me try out your miez rod, what a stick!

Thanks Marlow for the day of enjoying the company of so many really good people who just happen to be the legends of the northwest fishing community. Watching the beautiful casting of so many people and listening to the knowledge flowing all around sends me home with my brain full. Wish I could remember half of what I heard.

Thanks Aaron for bringing all the rods and lines to try. Wish I could have stayed for what looks like some really good eats.

Thanks to Nobuo for donating the Skaget Specialist for the casting competition. Will have to practice more this year so I can advance up to average.
