Anyone tried the new sage 9150-4 or the scott arc 15' 9 wght.? I'm looking for a new rod that casts sink tips well. I have an old sage 9140-4 and I feel I need more umph. for longer casts with tips.
Thanks for the insights.

You might want to take a look at the St. Croix 15' its a true 11 wt and can throw very heavy tips with ease. It is a very powerful rod and alot more than is needed for most fishing but when the waters up and the fish are down it will get the big tips out there for you.
