Anyone of you folks out there have used these rods?  I would appreciate someone kindly sharing their experience on rod action, line matching, etc.

Regards,
Andy

Hi
I have both these rods. I had try'd the GLX but found it a bit to stiff  for my liking , so settled on the GL3.
I try'd a number of lines but found the Rio Mid Spey ( multi tip)to be the best. Hope this helps

I use the 14-8/9 for my 'tips' rod. Stiff enough that it will cast a brick with heavy tips, or overlined (at least one) for heavy floaters/skaters. The rod will poop you out with long use, which is why I switch from this to a 'traditional' blank and a floating line for the 'rest period.' Good rod but to use for an extended period you'd better be in good shape.
