The attachment is an Excel spread sheet containing line weights, tip and belly diameters, head lengths (includes front taper) and on some of the lines, the length of the front taper, belly and rear taper. I used factory specs when they were available. Others were gleaned from previous posts, or weighed, or mic'd and calculated.
Hope this helps in choosing a line. Although the more lines I cast, the more I am convinced that there is more involved than just grain weight. And, of course, if anyone come across any gross errors, feel free to edit this? or let me know so I can make the changes.

I'm having problems downloading your spreadsheet. At first I was informed that it had been moved or was no longer available. However after deleting my cookies and history files, I was able to access it, but it is gibberish. Any suggestions? If not, would you try emailing it to my address. I would like the info.
My address is [email protected]

Looks good, but I wonder about the Mastery Spey info. I think their lines are 8/9, 10/11, and 12/13. Did you mislabel them?

Outstanding effort!!!!! God, I wish I'd had this before I bought my last line, but darn glad to have it now as I'm considering another one. First choice for the new line just went to last place. Thanks for saving me $70 bucks.

Carl is right. The SA line sizes should be 8/9, 10/11, and 12/13
