Off and on I've also looked for their, or perhaps 'a,' web site for these rods. Zip success to date. Anyone aware of a fly shop, etc., that has a web site that features this brand of rod?

For what it is worth, these people have 18' Spey rods for sale. Here is the url http://members.aol.com/clanrods/ they may be a touch costly, but you only traverse this palnet once.

Malcom, DO NOT give Joan any ideas that I may not 'be able to live with.' Behave or I'll have to sick Melly on you. Remember, I know where you live.
Now, off to the web sites!!!!!!!! Gotta go, Joan just waked in to my office.

"The Beast" is on it's way, shipped from England either yesterday or this morning. The 18' 10wt should arrive in Medford within a week. One more reason "fish tremble at the mention of my name." Actually, given it's length the rod weighs in at just over 16 oz; heavy but my 15' Scott ARC is 12 oz. Doubt this is a rod you'd fish with for a full day (unless you were similar in size to a lumberjack) but for specific water/applications it could be a killer. And was pleased at the relatively light line wt; most big rods are running at 11-13 line weights.

Kewl, you'll have to give us a review after its first outing. Coincidentally, my 15' 6" 11 wt. Daiwa is also on it's way over as we type. Looking forward to getting it down to the Whirlpool, though given my record down there, the fishing will be laughing, not trembling.

Can't really speak for Fred but I will anyway. I'm sure we'll do our best to oblige - especially the catching part.

Pete, Think you and I'll have to check with Dana on how to 'attach' panarama double wide 35mm's to our posts. Couple of folks have asked how do you walk through the woods with a rod that (down into 'two' pieces) is still 9 foot long. We my have to go off line (e mail) to coordinate our "stories."

Pete, forgot to ask:
There are a couple of the 18' configs; which one did you order? I have the 10wt coming.
