Guys I just thought I would introduce myself to everyone since I just joined here.  My name is Jeff Johnson and I work for Microsoft and live in Seattle.  This is is my 4th season fishing two handed rods.  I fish the Skykomish, Snoqualmie, Skagit, and Sauk up around here.  My "home" river is the North Umpqua, to bad it is is 5 hours away.  I still fish my single hander every so often but I love the two handers and am an steelhead addict.  I fish with a few of the guys on the list and continue to learn each time I go out.  Just ask Brian about me trying to learn the spiral Roll cast on the Hoh a couple of weeks ago.  He about died laugh.  I am enjoying reading the posts.  Of to the Sky this weekend for a float.

JJ

Good luck on the Sky Jeff. I was out this morning and the river is dropping nicely and is in great shape.

Tight lines!

Hi Jeff. I too have just signed on here and I too am off to drift the Sky this weekend. In fact I do believe that I'll be in your boat! I'm Brian's buddy Tyler from the Thompson and I think you are the boatman for our adventure on Saturday. At any rate you shouldn't feel too bad about the spiral roll cast as I seem to remember Brian's early flailings with that wonderful cast! So see you in Monroe - morre then.

As it turns out it seems that we'll be in Brian's raft after all - oh well we'll still see you enroute.

Kush,

Yah Brian is taking his raft and me and a buddy in my drift boat.  But I am throwing in the BBQ and am going to be grill some steaks and Potatoes for lunch.  It should be a good time.  I am looking forward to meet you after all of Brian's story.  See you at 7:30is tomorrow.

JJ
