I'm going north this spring for steelhead fishing around Terrace.  I know that the regulations for British Columbia call for single point barbless hooks.  But I also remember a few years ago that there was some restriction against importing flies.  Is this a problem?

Unless your fly box has a half skin of protected feathers you shouldn't have any problem. There was some discussion about not permitting fresh roe from out of country so that potential disease couldn't be introduced, other than that you should be fine.
May the fish make you smile!
