I've just updated the Spey Pages with 2 new reviews and a new article.
BUT...I've also disabled the casting videos in order to reduce the number of times the site is down and also to allow me to update that section. I should have it back up with some new stuff early in the New Year.
Season's Greetings to everyone!
ps: new baby girl "in the house"--Mackenzie Sturn was born on December 16th; a little early (she was due Feb 6th and remains in the hospital --mom & 'kenzie are doing well), but just in time for Christmas!

Nothing more precious than a little baby doe, as you Canucks call them! Congrats! I have a couple of each, and they're all special! Merry Christmas and hope that you have Mckenzie and the big boss safely home real soon!!

Congrats, Dana. My best wishes for the new one. It won't be long before you bring her home and show her off.

Ladies and Gentlemen!
I propose we all pour a bit of Port (I'd say Dana had to send each and everyone a cigar but not sure how he'd pull that off) and at 9 PM of the 30'th we toast Mother and New Child. Dana's job will be to get a photo up on the Board.
Dana given you have extended family that almost litterly stretchs around the world and most time zones this could be a very 'wet' evening for you to keep up your end.

Never much liked Port, I just got a bottle of very nice Scotch for Christmas. Will that suffice?
As to the cigars I have some Monte's that are jsut crying to be lit.
Merry Christmas dude.

Dana, Dianne and I send our most heartfelt congratulations. How old will she be before you put a rod in her hand?

A heartfelt thanks to everyone for all the congrats and expressions of concern. Mom is home already and doing great but missing her little girl; daughter will be in the hospital for at least another month they tell us. Christmas Day was spent taking turns looking after our son while the other made the trek in to visit with his baby sister.
Both the port and scotch sound great, and I have a good bottle of each in the cabinet, although when I mix 'em (a common mistake autumns on the Thompson!) I get a wicked headache the next morning...

A ha! When you said "wicked headache" the next morning I knew you'd been there -done that. Wonderful, but wicked combination; not for the faint of heart.

Dana, Congratulations to you, your wife and family, from yet another . . .wishing you all the best.
A toast to Dana's new "Baby Doe" and her mother is an excellent proposal Fred!
So 9 PM on the 30th it is--though my glass will be filled with a stiff batch of Christmas Glog (don't have the proper character set for that word).
Also, here's to a great new year for everyone.

Congratulations on the new baby. Not to worry, preemie baby girls are tough. My first born was 2 month early, weighed 4 lbs and was 20" long. Not a real pretty baby (more like a skinny Resus monkey) at first but boy you should see her now. Like the doctor said when we first saw her " in spite of her parents, she will do just fine". And she did!
